Is a Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) who has worked with children with disabilities individually, and in group/classroom settings. She has experience with children from 5 months to 45 years of age with Autism, Asperger's syndrome, beckwith-weidemann syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Fetal Alcohol syndrome, developmental delays, dyspraxia, down syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. She has a background in teaching in the Miami-Dade public school system. She also started a competitive rock climbing program for children at X-treme Rock climbing which currently continues to operate.
Fitness has always played a huge role in her life. Her participation as a competitive athlete spans 19 years and currently proceeds. Her involvement in fitness has consisted of gymnastics, cheerleading, rock climbing, dance, Cross-Fit, and Olympic weight lifting.
Her passion for fitness and Occupational Therapy has inspired her to combine them and open up a facility that promotes adaptive fitness for the young community. She is ready for the challenge and cannot wait to see the positive outcomes of the children/adolescence that she impacts.
